Just Ask King Edward or Wallis Simpson

Just Ask King Edward
By: Dave Cole

If you had all the power, money, fame and fortune you
could ask for......do you really think that can get you
happiness?

Well, most of us would probably say: I'm not sure, but
I'd really like to try :-)

But seriously, even if you had all the material wealth and
things you could stand, but lacked one thing, you would
most likely be living an empty life.

Just ask King Edward VIII

The Prince of Wales was the first born of the royal family
and thus became the King of England when his father,
King George V passed away.

King Edward had everything there was in life. He could
have any material thing, he was the King of one of the
most powerful countries in the world, he was born into
fame and fortune.

But King Edward didn't have one thing.....and that one thing
he didn't have was making him a man empty inside.

King Edward's greatest desire on earth could not be filled
by his royalty, fame and riches.

Wallis Simpson, an American, was a woman who
had some wealth, fame, and fortune and was even voted
as Time Magazine's first, Woman of The Year in 1936.

But despite her marriage, she was a woman who was lonely
and empty inside.

Wallis Simpson was also a woman who knew what she wanted
in life and was willing to pay any price to get it.....and what
she wanted most was the love of King Edward.

King Edward knew he wanted the same thing, but there was
one tiny problem. As King of England, he was automatically
the head of the Church of England and remarriage for
divorcees was strictly prohibited by the church at that time.

King Edward shocked the world when he renounced his
throne in favor of following the one thing that would fill
the emptiness inside him and make his life complete.

He paid a far higher price to get what he wanted than
most.

The object of this story is twofold.

If you are willing to pay any price to get what you really
want in life, then it will come to you.

Yet, you can literally "have it all" and still not be happy.

The one thing that we must seek after to fulfill our deepest
reason for being here on earth is to find love. Without
true love for and with another, you cannot live a life of
total prosperity and abundance.

Millions of folks are now living together and are miserable.
They are not in love and are empty inside.

Your first duty here is to love, it is not to be empty or
incomplete.

Just ask King Edward or Wallis Simpson.

Life is not living without love.
