We're Doing Something New

As many of you know the spam filters are blocking
a good many of ours and other editors newsletters from
reaching inboxes. Many folks really want to get our newsletter,
yet it's being blocked from entering.

So we are doing what a lot of other newsletter editors have
done.....not only will our newsletters still come to you
via e-mail, but we also are going to publish the newsletter
online for your convenience.

What Will happen is:

You will be getting two emails from us each Friday.

1.  The first will be a very short, simple
text  letter that will have the link to the online edition.

That will bypass a lot of filters so folks can
now know where and when they can read our newest Prosperity

2.  You will be getting a second email, which will be the full issue of Prosperity for the week.

If you don't want the text letter with online
link, simply delete it. and read your issue in the email when it comes
like normal. And vise versa, if you don't want the newsletter,
delete it and click on the link to read it online.

As an example, you can read this issue online here

We feel this will allow many more readers to actually
read our newsletters and also, many folks delete their
copy and often write in wanting to find stuff they
had read, so all the issues of our newsletter are online,
indexed on one page, and will be up there for ever for your
reading pleasure.

You can read almost every issue of Prosperity we have ever published online now, or at your convenience.

(There were about 6 months worth of issues we
published in the very beginning that we never saved, so they
are missing from the set)

Dakota Tribal Wisdom & Modern Day Marketing

Beating a Dead Horse......

Dakota tribal wisdom says that when you discover you
are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.
However, in business we often try other
strategies with dead horses, including the following:

1. Buying a stronger whip.

2. Changing riders.

3. Say things like, "This is the way we have always ridden this horse."

4. Appointing a committee to study the horse.

5. Arranging to visit other sites to see how they ride dead horses.

6. Increasing the standards to ride dead horses.

7. Appointing a tiger team to revive the dead horse.

8. Creating a training session to increase our riding ability.

9. Comparing the state of dead horses in todays environment.

10. Change the requirements declaring that "This horse is not dead."

11. Hire contractors to ride the dead horse.

12. Harnessing several dead horses together for increased speed.

13. Declaring that "No horse is too dead to beat."

14. Providing additional funding to increase the horse's performance.

15. Do a Cost Analysis study to see if contractors can ride it cheaper.

16. Purchase a product to make dead horses run faster.

17. Declare the horse is "better, faster and cheaper" dead.

18. Form a quality circle to find uses for dead horses.

19. Revisit the performance requirements for horses.

20. Say this horse was procured with cost as an independent variable.

21. Promote the dead horse to a supervisory position.

The Google Bot

If you're going to market on the Internet, one
of the main considerations you will need to focus on is how
to get a high search engine ranking on Google.

Here's a web site that will give you some simple
and easy to follow instructions on how you can accomplish that.

Believe me it works. We began building our

site around the first of this year and following the
tips on the below page, we already have ranked as high
as number 4 on some of our search terms.

And, thats a very good accomplishment considering the
high number of pet sites out there we are in competition with.

Ranking high on Google will give you more traffic than
you can imagine.

As you can see it is a very targeted, theme based site.
We are adding pages to it almost daily, along with adding
highly relevant links from high ranking sites back to it.

This is important!!!

You want your site to have a link back to it on an
already established high ranking site

How To Make & Plan A Home Budget

B - Baby
U - You
D - Deserve
G - Getting
E - Every
T - Thing

What is your reaction to the word home budget?
A sinking, depressed, deprived feeling?

You are not alone. Many people audibly groan at the mention
of the word. For the vast majority, it connotes scarcity,
lack and limitation - none of which are pleasurable concepts.

Budgeting in common usage usually means cutting the fun,
frivolity, entertainment, and spontaneity out of your life,
and creating a bare-bones, austere, nothing but the basics
spending plan - something you do when you're stressed
about not having enough money.

That is not my idea of budgeting. I have reframed it above:
it means designing a spending plan to achieve your number
one priorities, and getting all those things you really want.

This can and should be a very enjoyable process, and
not the bitter, restrictive pill you fear.

It is important to know that a budget is not written in stone.
It is flexible, adjustable plan that reflects how you give valuable
products or services to others (income) and how you choose
to support others by buying their products or services (expenses).

All of these are decisions you make, therefore you have
the power to change them. We often feel so trapped by our previous decisions that we think that we're stuck, but a
closer examination will reveal that we can change

everything if we are willing.

The power of budgeting is that we decide before each
month how we will spend our income, then as the month
goes on, we write down our actual income and expenses.

When we tally up the score at the end of the month, we
can see whether or not we want to change our decisions
for the next month. Design a plan that works for you, and then work your plan.

Little Johnny invited Little Suzy to join him and his dad
to the football game. Little Suzy had never been to a football game
before so she readily agreed to go.

After the game Little Johnny asked Little Suzy how she liked
the game. "Oh, I really liked it," she said, "but I couldn't
understand it why they were killing each other for 25 cents."

"What on earth do you mean?" Little Johnny inquired.

"Well I saw them flip a coin and one team got it and then
for the rest of the game all they kept screaming was, 'Get
the quarter back! Get the quarter back!'"
